Partake foods mini cookies review
My first impression as a mother.
Partake foods box was beautifully simple. It has all the top 8 allergen pictures crossed off, so it's enough for a child to distinguish if it might be safe for them. It has clean ingredients, nothing it doesn't need. You see the box and think to yourself how many cookies can actually be in there? Let's just say there is plenty to go around, like an endless cookie box. The cookies themselves are soft and chewy, but not to soft where they break and crumble, but not chewy like gum. Just perfect. You can eat the whole box alone and not share and not feel like you ate a box of rocks (lets just say I speak from experience). Plus they go perfect with a tall glass of flax milk, yummy! Overall our family LOVED them, from youngest to oldest, from those with food allergies to those who don't have dietary restrictions. There wasn't any if, buts or ands about this amazingly tasting cookie company.
- Sprouted Grains! AMAZING AND A TOTAL PLUS! I will get back to this point.
- No artificial colors, flavors or preservatives
- Certified Gluten Free (A MUST)
- NON GMO
- School safe
- MADE IN A DEDICATED ALLERGEN FRIENDLY FACILITY *A MUST IN OUR HOME*

"Why is this a must," you might ask. In our home we don't feed our child anything that has a statement made on shared lines, shared facility (depends the GMP the company takes to ensure no cross contamination to their products) or processed with allergens that she is allergic to. We noticed and learned many years ago that our oldest daughter was reacting to foods that we thought where safe. We later found out after an anaphylactic reaction to a cookie that it was processed on the same lines as peanuts. This is where our hard work began. We have found out that in our daughter's case it's safest to only feed her products made in dedicated facilities safe from her allergens.
In order to insure this I have spent countless hours reading labels, emailing and calling companies to ensure they are a good fit for our family. I have found that even after I have spoken to someone from a company I also request that they please send me an email with all there allergen control procedures, cleaning procedures, manufacturing and facility information. It's great for me to save the emails in a file that I can later share if needed in my support group.

Now let's go back to why SPROUTED was amazing and a plus.
When grains are sprouted they are converted into living foods with more vital nutrients which are more easily absorbed by the body.
Here is an amazing article I found if you want to read more on this topic of why Sprouted foods over non Sprouted foods
Why Sprouted Foods Might Be Better for You
This article says: "It turns out turning regular old grains into sprouts can have some pretty intriguing nutritional benefits. When seeds hang out in water, they germinate, causing their outer layers to split open, allowing a young shoot to blossom. When this happens, the newly emerging sprout consumes some of the grain’s starches, thereby altering the food’s nutritional content, says nutritionist Alexandra Caspero, R.D., owner of Delicious Knowledge nutrition coaching. The same is true for sprouted seeds, legumes or nuts."
